What You'll Do:

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing, Blackpoint Cyber is seeking experienced candidates who are knowledgeable, collaborative, and truly excited about being a part of Blackpoint Cyber as a data expert. The Product Marketing Data Analyst role is an expert in collecting and analyzing data and presenting their findings effectively to influence the product and feature enhancement roadmap.

Responsibilities:

Blackpoint Cyber is looking for someone who will:

  • Collaborate with engineering to advise and influence the product roadmap through request analysis.
  • Develop and recommend a methodology for determining priority of feature requests
  • Ability to communicate complex data in a simplified format
  • Help advise on the workflow to which feature enhancements are submitted for consideration and approved.
  • Monitor and maintain the database of feature requests.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to analyze in-app metrics and usage in order to identify areas of opportunity
  • Partner with product marketing to collect and analyze industry trends and market data

What you'll Bring:

  • Degree in analytical discipline (e.g. analytics, BI, data science, or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of experience in an analytics role preferably in cybersecurity or IT/ software
  • Ability to extract insights from large data sets and seamlessly translate into actionable recommendations
  • Deep understanding of performance and measurement metrics
  • Technical capability to work with data engineers to gain insight and guide solution development
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including, marketing, sales, engineering, product development, and customer success.
