Sales / Interior Design Consultant

Do you have a passion for selling modern interior design in a beautiful retail store environment? At BoConcept we are looking for a highly talented Sales/Interior Design Consultant for our Fort Lauderdale – River Market store.

If you are an experienced interior designer looking for their next step and one who is sales and service focused, responsible, enthusiastic and someone who has a passion for modern interior design, then we want to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meets required monthly sales and productivity standards.
• Perform productive interior design services including the ability to accurately measure and assess the client's living space via in-home, in-store and/or virtual consultations to drive sales.
• Create and present design plans based on client's needs, style, preferences and living space.
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge, including features and benefits of the entire showroom assortment.
• Maintains a guest book to organize, generate and cultivate business.
• Ensure the presentation of the store, our furniture and accessories are maintained to the highest standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service at all stages of the sales process.
• Represent the BoConcept image and be a proactive ambassador in the local community.

THE PROFILE

• High energy, integrity, dedication, personality and a positive attitude.
• Previous experience of retail sales, preferably within a premium brand.
• Good knowledge, understanding or experience of the interior design and/or fashion industry is preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management, technological and communication skills
• AM/PM Shifts, Weekend and Bank Holiday work is required.
• A Full Driving License is required as the role involves some travel.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires handling merchandise on a regular basis (boxes, lamps, large accessories).
• Able to reach overhead, bend and kneel when needed, carry product.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to use and climb ladders safely.
