Senior Accountant

We are a Biotechnology Research company, who, for over 25 years have been manufacturing in a number of different markets including industrial, life science and medical products. We are leading supplier of system tools for the research, development and commercialization of diagnostic tests. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our fast growing team and organization!
- You will support all finance and accounting activities including financial record keeping and reporting
- Complete month end, quarter end, and year end activities
- Support planning, organizing financial reporting, accounting, and general financial affairs of the division
- Support preparing divisional results and explain them accurately with variances explained, risk identified, and mitigation plans
- Assist preparing budget, forecast and long-term plans with business risks identified
- Assist implementing best practice to streamline/improve both financial reporting accuracy/timing as well as operational performance
- Prepare audit documents on a quarterly basis, ensuring that all accounts are reconciled
- Support implementing ERP system.
- Prepare projects actual status and communicate any potential risk to projects to Management team
- Support Project Managers with forecast preparation, analysis and reporting
Required:
- Experience with AP/AR Functions
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 2+ years of working in accounting of financial analyst role
- Strong Excel skills: PivotTable, Lookup or If Statements
