Winehipping is a tech-enabled third-party logistics (3PL) provider for alcoholic beverage companies, managing the fastest, most accurate, and most cost-efficient delivery network in the US for wine, beer, spirits, and more. SUMMARY: The Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) will be a key member of the Finance team and will work closely with the Senior Director of Finance, Finance staff, Accounting, Sales, and Operations to provide timely and accurate financial reporting and analyses for management use in decision making and continued improvements.

SENIOR FINANICAL ANALYST (FP&A) DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produce month-end management reporting, identifying, and analyzing key drivers of the business.
  • Analyze monthly revenue vs budget/forecast, working closely with the accounting team to ensure accuracy of revenue.
  • Develop and execute financial models and analysis in support of budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive the development of the annual budget, including working directly with Operational site leaders and Corporate Department Managers to develop operating expense targets.
  • Support Sales and Operations management by providing financial data and analysis as needed for customer facing activities, board presentations, or other strategic initiatives.
  • Develop financial result scorecards for Operations and Corporate Departments.
  • Support Sales and Customer Service by developing and analyzing customer pricing and profitability throughout the year.
  • Support the pricing function and new business development efforts through modeling, research, financial analysis, pricing studies, competitive analyses, and other ad hoc projects.
  • Manage large and complex data sets across multiple systems to produce accurate and timely consolidated reporting.
  • Streamline and improve reporting and budgeting procedures.
  • Assist with annual audit by providing financial information as required.
  • Take an active approach to being an expert on our company.


SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA a plus.
  • 3+ years’ experience in FP&A role or similar experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, D365 Management Reporter and Power BI skills a plus.
  • Private business sector experience preferred.
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work cross functionally.
