Description/Summary

Responsible for the day to day general ledger accounting and reporting activities for Corporate Real Estate and The Stores

Preparation and review of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations
Review of contracts and analysis for lease accounting transactions

Provide analytical support to the Finance teams for annual AOP and quarterly forecast processes
Analysis and preparation of monthly and quarterly P&L and Balance Sheet variance analyses

SOX, government, and tax compliance tasks Preparation of support for annual federal and state income, property, and real estate tax filings
Preparation of 10K/10Q related reporting
Ad hoc project work including the two aforementioned projects (implementation of new guidance and centralization projects)

Job Skills
1-4 years of accounting work experience
SAP knowledge
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word
Strong technical and general accounting knowledge required. Conversant in relevant accounting guidance regarding lease accounting.
Must be able to interact with all levels of management Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or a closely related field.
2 years minimum (3+ years preferred) of professional analyst experience, including 2 years of project management experience.
Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills (highly preferred)
Exceptional abilities in Microsoft Suite of applications – Visio, Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, etc. (highly preferred)
Experience with strategy and performance management methodology (preferred)
Knowledge and experience with continuous improvement methods – Lean, Six Sigma, etc.; (preferred)
Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
